Here is a 400 sq. ft. basement that with a little TLC turned into a teenagers personal bachelor pad. When we first looked at this one goal was to gain more head room for the 6'7'' youngster. We were able to gain this by removing the existing ceiling and existing framing.
We ran into a little hiccup after realizing the existing upper floor framing didn't meet UDC (Uniform Dwelling Code) guidelines. This was a scenario where we had to get creative but SFF Carpentry made it happen.
